Job 20:6-11

New International Version

⁶ Though the pride^(A) of the godless person reaches to the heavens^(B)
    and his head touches the clouds,^(C)
7 he will perish forever,^(D) like his own dung;
    those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’^(E)
8 Like a dream^(F) he flies away,^(G) no more to be found,
    banished^(H) like a vision of the night.^(I)
9 The eye that saw him will not see him again;
    his place will look on him no more.^(J)
10 His children^(K) must make amends to the poor;
    his own hands must give back his wealth.^(L)
11 The youthful vigor^(M) that fills his bones^(N)
    will lie with him in the dust.^(O)
